Prior to the big day, the couple had their final bachelor dinner with their families, capturing the attention of the internet with shared photos. Nupur recently shared heartwarming snapshots from the dinner on his Instagram. The images depict him tenderly feeding Ira some traditional Maharashtrian delights, including Puran Poli and Modak. In return, Ira lovingly reciprocated by feeding him with her own hands, marking a sweet moment between the couple. The haldi and mehendi ceremonies took place in Mumbai, attended by their nearest friends and family, making it a cherished affair. Following their marriage registration at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, Ira and Nupur are set to embark on their grand destination wedding in Rajasthan. The couple, engaged since November 2022 after years of dating, hosted a star-studded engagement party attended by notable celebrities including Aamir Khan, Ira's cousin Imran Khan, and actress Fatima Sana Shaikh, a close friend of the Khans.
Ira is the daughter of Aamir Khan and his first wife, Reena Dutta, who married in 1986 and later separated in 2002. Despite their split, they maintain an amicable relationship. PK actor's second wife, Kiran Rao, enthusiastically joined in all of Ira's pre-wedding celebrations, actively engaging in the festivities alongside the family.
